Just over 80 people made the trip to East Kent and enjoyed a fine day orienteering at Blean Wood. The enjoyable and challenging courses, planned by Nick Betts, were well received by novices and the experienced. Thank you to all who helped on the day (Registration - Lorna Hills, Start - Ian Wilso & Rob Sibley, Control collecting John van Rooyen, Jerry & Mark Purkis, Tony Connellan & Simon Greenwood, SI, results map printing and controlling - Simon Maytum). Thank you also to everybody who competed and made the organisation of the day worthwhile.
We are grateful to Mr S Dawes for allowing us access to the woods and also for permitting the use of the Mount Ephraim facilities for our base.
