Directions: Ranscombe Farm Country Park GR TQ 718675
Accessed from the A228. Leaving the M2 at Jct2, at the A228 roundabout turn south (direction Tonbridge and West Malling). In 150m turn right for the Park. Continue past the small public car park and after 100m park in the field on the right.

Getting to the BBQ:
(Address:- Berwyn, Kingswood Road, Kits Coty ME20 7EL On the south-facing slope of Blue Bell Hill. Grid Reference 744618.)
From the event go back to the M2 and travel in Dover direction to Jct3. Turn off for A229 direction Maidstone. As you start to descend Blue Bell Hill take slip road signed Eccles & Burham. This swings under the dual carriageway and immediately TR steeply uphill (Chatham Rd). After passing under footbridge bear left signed Kits Coty Village (do not rejoin A229). Keep right on Kingswood Rd to the end watching for O signs.

Courses: This handicap event has a novelty flavour. Tip: a watch is advised. SI punching.
Map and Terrain: Scale 1:10 000 The extensive terrain is a mix of woodland and fields. In summer undergrowth conditions, leg protection is recommended.
Registration:10.15 to 10.15 hrs
Starts:10.30 to 10.30 hrs
Fees: Car parking: £1/car donation to Plantlife charity. No charge for the event.
Facilities: BBQ!

If you know in advance that you are intending to compete in this event it would be appreciated if you could e-mail the organiser, saying which course you’d like a map for. This will allow us to make a reasonable estimate of the minimum number of maps to be printed. Extra maps will be printed for those who prefer to just turn up on the day but we do like to ensure that there is a map for everybody without excessive wastage.
